The Seven Plagues

If you want to read about what the ‘Mark of the Beast’ is, then please click on this link. This page deals with those who have taken the mark, and who have bowed to another gospel or received another salvation.

When the LORD first called Israel out of Egypt, He gave Moses two signs, and with each sign a voice. Thereafter, these signs and their testimonies, would mark those who kept, or rejected them. The ‘mark of the beast’ is bound in the sign of the later voice given to Moses; a leprous hand held over the heart.

Please come walk with me….

THE FIRST SIGN – THE FIRST VOICE

And Moses answered and said, but, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken to my voice: for they will say, The LORD has not appeared to thee. And the LORD said to him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said to Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. (Exodus 4:1-5)

THE FIRST SIGN given to Moses was a rod that was a staff when held aloft, and a serpent when cast to the ground. Held aloft Israel was blessed. Cast down Israel was cursed.

THE FIRST VOICE: the Covenant of the Law. A testimony Moses set before Israel for ‘life and good,’ and ‘death and evil.’

Bound in this Covenant, the rule of law: To the obedient the power of life and good; the power to bless, too heal, and to establish Sabbaths of rest. To the rebellious: the power of death and evil; the power to curse, too destroy and sevenfold vengeance in place of rest.

MOSES SONG: Moses wrote these things in a book and having sung its testimony to Israel, placed this ‘book of the law,’ in the side of the Ark of the Covenant, which also held the attributes of Christ’s dispensations. Thereafter, every seven years, in the seventh month, the sons of the High Priest blew trumpets to gather the tribes to hear Moses song, written in the ‘book of the law.’ A song that witnessed against Israel.

The sign of the ‘rod and the serpent’ was first shown to Pharaoh, and the people heard its voice when Moses declared its Law from Sinai. Israel in their generations tried in vain to keep its statutes, but in time her tribes bowed to evil, and were cast out of the promised-land. Condemned to wander in the nations without rest; God’s testimony in them now as salt and brimstone. (Deuteronomy 29)

In Revelation chapter 12, we see two signs…

And a great sign was seen in heaven: a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;

And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven crowns…. And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

THE SIGNS IN REVELATION: In these two signs, the woman personifies the ‘rod of the law held aloft,’ just as the dragon; the serpent, is ‘the law cast down.’ The woman and the dragon both represent Sinai’s Covenant; one is obedient, one is not. The dragon’s seven heads its Sabbaths, and its ten horns; Ten Commandments. Bound in their statutes the power and authority to rule the kingdoms of this world. Power ordained in two archangels; Michael and Satan. This Law is the seat of Satan’s power.

Generations of theologians and Christians have considered these signs in Revelation, and yet, have not recognised them for what they are; the ‘rod and the serpent’ first shown to Moses. Truly, only the LORD can order His Word. Its signs in the Book of Revelation, are a prelude to the singing of the Song of Moses.

Now, the LORD gave Moses a latter sign…

And the LORD said furthermore to him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh. And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign. (Exodus 4:6-8)

And the LORD gave Moses one final sign…

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe even these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which you take out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land. (Exodus 4:9)

THE LATTER SIGN – THE LATTER VOICE

Theologians say Deuteronomy pertains to Moses second reading of the Law before the tribes of Israel entered the promised-land. However, Moses declared two laws. In Deuteronomy chapter 5, Moses first declared, Ten Commandments written in stone. This Covenant is the first voice we see in the Book of Revelation, both as a virtuous bride, and the serpent cast down from heaven.

Then, in Deuteronomy chapter 6, the Great Commandment: a law Moses foresaw would be in our hearts, on our hands, and upon our foreheads; a law of faith.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:.. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. (Deut 6:4-8)

THE LATTER SIGN: Moses spoke of the LORD’S Testimony in our heart and mind, as being a sign; a mark upon our hand and forehead. The latter sign reveals if the LORD’S Testimony in us is clean, or unclean. The sign of the leprous hand, marks the beast.

THE LATTER VOICE: The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Bound in this Covenant is the kingdom of God: To the believer, the power of an endless life; the power to love our enemies, and the faith to rest in Jesus Christ; the true Sabbath. To the unbelieving: the power of death and hell, its plagues, and religious works offered continually day and night.

THE CLEAN HAND: The sign of the clean hand reveals the purity of Jesus testimony in our heart. In the Book of Revelation, the virgin born tribes have their Father’s Name written on their foreheads. The Promised Son that Isaiah declared would be named the Everlasting Father; the LORD Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 9:6)

THE UNCLEAN HAND: As the sign of a clean hand reveals a virgin born gospel in our heart, so the unclean hand reveals Jesus gospel defiled. The leprous hand reveals ‘another gospel;’ the creeds, traditions and laws of men, in our heart.

THE MARK OF THE BEAST: The leprous hand is the sign of the mark of the beast. ‘Idols’ forged by men in the image of God’s Word that sit in our heart and mind. Instead of Christ’s salvation, a gospel touched by men, that in time will make us desolate. This rebellion marks us, just as its sevenfold vengeance marked Cain. The ‘mark of the beast,’ is the sign of the leprous hand, upon those who teach, preach, or worship another gospel.

THE MARK OF THE BEAST

In Revelation, chapter 14, the root cause of the ‘mark of the beast,’ is revealed as it unfolds in the messages of three angels. Please heed the simplicity of its revelation.

  1. The first Angel declares the everlasting gospel and the hour of God’s judgment;
  2. The second Angel declares Babylon has fallen; men’s creeds mixed with God’s Word (see ‘The Man of Sin’)
  3. The third Angel reveals those who have taken the mark of the beast, and those who have not.

These angels do not only sound once. God’s Word is a living creature, and these messages have repeated in every generation, to every religious assembly. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20) Observe also, the saints who keep the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice; if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (Revelation 14:9-13)

THE LAWGIVER SONGS

And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having seven plagues, which are the last, for in them is finished the wrath of God. (Revelation 15:1)

In Revelation chapter 15, we see the sign of seven final plagues in heaven. Before they are released, we first hear the songs of those who keep the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus; the songs of Moses and the Lamb. These have not bowed to the image of the beast. They have not bowed to his mark or his name. They have found rest.

And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:2-3)

Moses’ song, in the ‘book of the law,’ was first put into the Ark of the Testimony beside the tables of the law, the pot of manna, and the rod that budded. Symbols of Christ’s seasons as the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. In Revelation chapter 11, the testimonies of the ‘law and gospel,’ have sounded in the outer court of God’s temple in every generation and in every religious assembly. In the outer court: because we have not entered into Jesus Christ, the true tabernacle. Witnesses put to death in our congregations, just as pious pretenders murdered the Christ. Put to death: because we cannot accept their testimony without adding a bit here, or removing a bit there. From this the mark, from this error, come seven plagues.

Now, these two witnesses stand in the Book, and their songs tell us of the wrath and plagues to follow. As the tabernacle of witness is opened in heaven, we are told how their plagues must be fulfilled before anyone can enter into the tabernacle of God, in heaven.

The opening of this tabernacle is the LORD Jesus Christ revealing to you, He is the first and the last. That He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, the LORD God Almighty who was, and is, and is to come. The Commandment Moses said would be in our heart and mind: the LORD God is One LORD.’

THE LEPROUS MARK – SEVEN PLAGUES

And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: … And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. (Revelation 15:5-8)

The plagues cleanse the tabernacle of God’s testimony in heaven. They cleanse the Gospel of Jesus Christ in us. They sever the just from the unjust, and the love of Jesus truth, from the traditions, creeds and gospels of men. The plagues, are the sign of the leprous hand, first shown to Moses. The plagues are the sign, the mark, upon the hands and foreheads of those who have added to, or taken away, from the Testimony of Jesus Christ. THE SEVEN PLAGUES MARK THE BEAST. The seven plagues include the sevenfold vengeance of God bound in the law, and the plagues and curses bound in the Gospel. (Leviticus 26 – Revelation 22:18-19)

As the plagues called Israel out of Egypt, so these plagues, call us out of Babylon. They put the firstborn of man and beast to death.

THE FIRST PLAGUE

And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. (Revelation 16:1-2)

The first plague falls upon the earth, upon those who have taken the mark of the beast, his name, and who worship his image. In Revelation, chapter 13, the false prophet comes up from out of the earth. The antichrist does not rise from the pure Word of God but from corrupted versions of Jesus’ gospel and law. While this ‘false prophet’ looks like a lamb, he speaks like a dragon. That is, he brings us back into the bondage of the law.

Jesus said: For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19)

Beasts in Scripture are portions of God’s Word and the power bound therein. The Lion of Judah, the gospel. The Lamb of God, the blood of forgiveness. The Dragon from heaven, Sinai’s Covenant. The Serpent on earth, the Law in Eden, and so on. However, this beast, the power that rises from the earth, is not of God, but man.

THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME: The number of this beast, is the number of man; 666. The antichrist is not one man, but all who have not entered into Jesus rest; His Sabbath, which is to believe, Jesus is both LORD and Christ. (Acts 2:36) The antichrist is those who stand in their own power; in their own doctrines, and laws, and who turn the truth of the Christ into a lie. Jesus said it would be so.

The image the ‘antichrist’ has us bow to is an image of the first beast that rises from the sea. This ‘beast of the sea,’ is God’s Word changed in the nations, and we’ll speak more of this in the second plague. Importantly, this ‘beast from the sea’ derives its power from the dragon; Sinai’s Covenant. Sinai’s Law is God’s Word, and its good purpose is seen in the bride undefiled. (Rev 12:1-2) However, its nature is also that of a serpent full of accusation, deceit and delusion, purposed in it by the LORD. The 6th Plague reveals this deceit.

You will have noticed the mark of the beast spoken of in this first plague relates to; the mark, the image and the name of the beast. I touch on this more in the second.

THE SECOND PLAGUE

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. (Revelation 16:3)

The second plague falls upon the sea, and these waters become as the blood of a dead man. Rather than life in the blood, there is death; the death of our souls. Why, because we have rejected the remission of sin promised in Jesus blood. We have rejected the forgiveness bound in Jesus sacrifice. The waters turning to blood, is the final sign Jesus gave to Moses, and reveals our congregations have rejected Jesus sacrifice and salvation for their own.

The waters, which turn to blood, are our nations, and peoples, and tongues. (Rev 17:15)

In the second Trumpet we saw Mount Sinai, the dragon, cast into the sea. The beast rising from the sea, rising from the nations, is God’s testimony altered. Daniel saw how it was changed. First he saw God’s Word as an eagle with its two wings removed, and then, stood on its feet as a man and a man’s heart given to it. The LORD had shown Daniel, man’s creation from His Word. (Daniel 7)

However, by the fourth beast, Daniel saw God’s testimony now resembled a man-made contraption. Its iron teeth and brass claws reveal things forged by men. Its ten horns and seven heads resembled the dragon, Sinai’s statutes and rule bound in men. However, in Revelation, chapter 13, as the four parts of this beast rise from the sea, we see the name of blasphemy upon its seven heads, and upon one of its heads a great wound. This ‘beast’ is God’s testimony, now defiled, that rises in the nations.

THE WOUND: Daniel saw the cause of this grievous wound. He saw the first three horns of the beast ripped out, and replaced by a ‘little horn,’ with the eyes of a man, and a great mouth that blasphemed God. The Prophet, foresaw God’s Testimony, bound in Sinai’s first three commandments, replaced by doctrines that interpret God’s Law, through the eyes of men. This ‘little horn’ is the ‘image,’ of God’s testimony desecrated, and is seen in the Book of Revelation as the, ‘blasphemous mouth.’

The image is God’s Law and Times changed…. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: (Daniel 7:25)

While Scripture says this wounded head is healed it is not healed in Christ. Its wickedness will fester in those who bow to creeds like the trinity. In the first plague we see these evil sores fall upon those who bow to the mark and these sores will worsen as the plagues unfold.

THE IMAGE – THE ABOMINATION: are those doctrines like the trinity, or the error of those who call on the name YHWH, to be saved. These creeds are the image of the first beast we bow down to, and worship. In the beast of the sea, we discover the abomination that in time will make us desolate. Creeds like the trinity replace Christ’s Testimony bound in the Law. No other God; not to create an image, and not to render the LORD’S name powerless, or an empty thing.

The mark of the beast spoken of in the first plague relates to the mark, the image and the name of the beast and the pattern of this wickedness overlays mens desecration of the first three commandments of God. This is the grievous wound and it shall consume all.

The second plague falls upon the LORD’S testimony altered in the nations. It puts to death every soul that rejects the blood of Jesus Salvation for another gospel. It is an eye for an eye.

THE THIRD PLAGUE

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and was, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. (Revelation 16:4-7)

Like the second plague, the blood of this third plague, is a sign of men’s rejection of God’s witness sown in the hearts of his saints and prophets.

The rivers and fountains of waters speak of God’s Testimony. The river Nile, the Covenant of Sinai. The river Euphrates, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The fountains of water, the prophets, and so on. This plague however, falls upon the rivers and fountains of our denominational beliefs.

Congregations: who envied, judged, and condemned those saints who protested against the creeds of rebellion in their times. Saints, like Martin Luther, Tyndale, and so many others, who refused to bow down, and who rallied against the blasphemy of the ‘little horn’ doctrines in our midst, but were overcome. Overcome because we were blind to its place in our own heart. Overcome because of the grievous wound in our souls. The blood of this plague avenges those slain souls, seen under the altar in the fifth seal. (Revelation 6:9-11)

In the third Trumpet, a third part of these waters became wormwood; a third part of God’s testimony in us died. In this plague, the drinking of the blood remembers the witness of those put to death in our midst. This is the blood of vengeance, and its drinking is the death of the last parts of God’s testimony in us. It is a life for a life.

THE FOURTH PLAGUE

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. (Revelation 16:8-9)

As Daniel’s fourth beast was the sum of the first three beasts, so this fourth plague, is the consequence of those before. This fourth plague releases the curses bound in the Gospel and the Law upon those who blaspheme God’s name.

Moses said: And it come to pass, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart…. The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.(Deuteronomy 29:19-20)

In the days of the Apostles, many antichrists in the assemblies denied Christ was both, the Father and the son. By Nicaea; ‘God is One LORD, had become God is three persons, and the baptism in Jesus name, replaced with the titles of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. For this cause, sores fell upon those who bowed to the beast’s image, and from this wound, has come death upon those souls who live in its implied salvation.

Therefore, the LORD Jesus sent witnesses into our congregations who begged we repent and turn back to him, but instead we hardened our hearts; cut them off, and put some of them to death. But, rather than repent of their blood, we then blaspheme the name of Jesus Christ even more. From the death bound in the first plagues, come hell, bound in creeds like those that call upon the name YHWH to be saved, or errant ‘name of God’ doctrines.

Moses said, God’s wrath would smoke against those who blessed themselves in the imaginations of their hearts, and in this plague we see men scorched with fire for blaspheming Jesus; God’s Name of Salvation. As we blot out God’s name from our church testimonies, so God blots out our names from the book of life.

THE FIFTH PLAGUE

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. (Revelation 16:10-11)

At the beginning of the plagues we saw that no man could enter the Tabernacle of God until the seven plagues were finished. In the Tabernacle on earth, in the Holy Place, is the Ark of the Covenant and on top of the Ark; a ‘seat’ over which bow the archangels, Michael and Satan. They reside over God’s Word; one in heaven, the other on the earth. This is the seat of Satan’s power, his rule and dominion over the kingdoms of this world. The power and authority of Satan (the dragon) is given to men. However, when the Blood of the Lamb is placed upon this seat, then the Spirit of God dwells upon it in His great majesty and glory.

This tabernacle, is also you and me. Its ‘seat’ is the table of our heart, and its dominion and kingdom, the dogma and laws that reign in us. And, upon the seat of offering, creeds that make us desolate. This sin and its wickedness, has gone out from our churches and into our communities, just as it did in Ezekiel’s day.

[The Beast of the Sea] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority (Revelation 13:2)

The beast that rises from the sea is God’s testimony altered in the nations. Hidden inside this corrupted testimony, are a grievous wound, an image; a horn of blasphemy. While this wound was healed for a season, its sores and evil are incurable. From this consuming sin, darkness and pain has filled His Kingdom.

Jesus said; And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 8: 11-12)

This darkness resides in our laws. Statutes that once underpinned good communities, have bred worms and from their curses, violence and lewdness, overflow our communities. Our honour of parents, and love for one another is devoured by laws, that set us against one another. This is the weeping and gnashing of teeth. Worse still, same sex marriages, reverse the natural order of things, and as men rejoice, its vile depravity is salt and brimstone in our heart, religious assemblies, and nations.

The Seat of God’s perfect law is soiled by the filth of our own vomit. Our perverted laws expose our condition, just as the leprous hand reveals the wickedness of desecrated gospels in our heart.

THE SIXTH PLAGUE

[PART-1] And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. (Revelation 16:12)

As the river Nile is symbolic of the Law, so the Euphrates pertains to the Gospel. The Euphrates drying up, is the Spirit in the Gospel of Jesus Christ withering in our hearts and minds, in our religious assemblies, communities, and nations.

In the Old Testament, the waters of the Jordan retreated when the feet of the Levites bearing the Ark of the Covenant, touched the river’s edge. Having wandered and fallen in the wilderness, Israel’s regenerated tribes prepared to pass over the Jordan; to destroy Jericho, and to purge from the Promised-Land, seven nations stronger than themselves.

To understand who or what the ‘Kings of the East’ are, we need to understand the ten horns of the beast, in the Book of Revelation, are ten kings. (Revelation 17:12-16) They are the Ten Commandments, with their blessings and curses. These Commandments cast to earth, are the ‘kings of the earth,’ which law reigns in the hearts of men, that when altered, bring forth their curses and plagues. In Reveltion, they burn the (w)hore with fire, make her desolate, naked, and eat her flesh. Nakedness and shame, first tasted by Adam and Eve in Eden.

The ‘Kings of the East,’ are the Royal Law and Gospel of Jesus Christ in those who believe. It is the way of Jesus Christ’s salvation. By it we are clothed, and by it are not ashamed. This portion of the sixth plague speaks of those of us, who have wandered in the wilderness, having trusted in the confusion and lies in our churches. As the LORD’s Word in us withers, the LORD Jesus prepares to restore His truth in those who repent, and turn back to Him.

This plague tells of impending battle between God’s truth, and those things in you and me, that oppose it. It is the destruction of ‘Babylon’ in us, and the putting to death of hybrid gospels and traditions. (Revelation 20:4-6)

[PART-2] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:13-14)

The Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet, mirror the season’s of Jesus Christ in his dispensations as the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost. These ‘three beasts’ are God’s Word corrupted by men. The healing, tongues, blessings in the law, miracles, signs, and visions, resident in God’s Word, also reside in these beasts. They are the spirits of devils, which have drawn multitudes to Jesus Testimony; both just and unjust. Our salvation rests in none of these things. The battle looming in this plague brings us to the true Revelation of Jesus Christ.

The sign of the leprous hand, spoken of in the Old Testament and in the first plague, reveal if Christ’s truth resides in us, or not. Do we believe the LORD our God is One LORD? Do we believe this LORD is Jesus, or is there another God beside him? Does His Great Commandment sit is you without spot, or is there sin in us?

The plagues purge God’s Word in us, leaving a faith cleansed of idolatry and unbelief. The LORD in these plagues, seeks to purifying our heart and soul, before we enter His Tabernacle in heaven. He seeks to chasten, correct, and cleanse.

The ‘kings of the earth;’ are the altered commandments and gospels in us. If these things reign in us, and not Christ, then the LORD in his righteousness will make war against us, and against all who touch His Truth. We can not add to or take away from His Word else we will face the Wrath of the Lamb. Jesus is jealous for our souls.

[PART-3] Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (Revelation 16:15)

This intervention by the LORD ties everything together perfectly. It is an acknowledgement by the LORD that He comes unobserved, like a thief. Even when we added to, and stole from his Word, the spirits of devils that lay in His Word, deceived us. For our deceit, Jesus gave us delusion. We thought the idols forged in Jesus name, clothed us, yet they make us naked and ashamed before the Lamb. The Apostle Paul says:

For the mystery of iniquity is already at work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12)

[PART-4] And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. (Revelation 16:16)

As above, for those of us, our religious leaders, and assemblies, who have not repented, a final reckoning.

The word ‘Armageddon’ is derived from the Hebrew, ‘Har-megiddon.’ Megiddo was where King Josiah fell. Three hundred and fifty years before his birth, a prophet from Judah spoke against the golden bulls and altars, set up by Jeroboam in Bethel and Dan. He told Jeroboam a child of the House of David, named Josiah would break down his altars and burn the bones of its priests thereon. Jeroboam’s bulls were forged to prevent the northern tribes of Israel returning to Jerusalem to worship. This became an incurable wound in Israel, in the same way our creeds fester in us.

Josiah ascended the throne of Judah at the age of eight, and was raised by the LORD’S priests. As a young man, they read to him the Book of the Law; the Song of Moses. Upon hearing it, Josiah rent his clothes and gathered the people to hear its song. In an effort to avoid God’s impending judgment, he dedicated his life to purging Judah and Israel of its idols and moral collapse.  In this we see a reflection of the LORD’S great purpose in the plagues.

Even so, Josiah fell in battle at Megiddo. The LORD removed him, as Judah and Israel were marked for the sword and the time of their judgment was near. At this point in the plagues, such are those church leaders and assemblies that have not yet repented. You also, were marked for the slaughter, on the day you bowed to idols; the corruption of God’s Word wrought by men. If you have not yet repented, then repent. The Wrath of the Lamb comes.

THE SEVENTH PLAGUE

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. (Revelation 16:17)

It is done! God’s Tabernacle in heaven is cleansed. If the LORD in his time has brought you to this place, then He has cleansed the Commandments of God, and the Faith of Jesus in you. If you have come into this place of faith and understanding, then you have kept the ‘feast of tabernacles;’ seven days, in the seventh year, of your release in the season of God’s will. A feast established in God’s Ordinances.

In the Book of Revelation, we see two harvests just before the songs of Moses and the Lamb are declared, and when the seven plagues are released. Observe the LORD’S Glory:

[The First Fruits] And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. (Revelation 14:14-16)

This first harvest bound in God’s Feasts, pertains to the ‘Harvest of First Fruits’ seen in the 144,000, of the twelve tribes of Israel – virgin born by the gospel of Jesus Christ.  The second harvest follows…

[The Ingathering] And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God (Revelation 14:17-19)

The second is the ‘Harvest of Ingathering’ – seen in the Book of Revelation as the multitudes out of all nations – with ‘palms’ in their hands and washed by the blood of the Lamb. In line with God’s Ordinances, this feast unfolds in three parts.

  • First: the blowing of Trumpets in the first day of the seventh month.  (In the Book of Revelation: The Seven Trumpets)
  • On the tenth day: the Sabbath Feast of Affliction and Atonement.  A time of repentance and believing Jesus Christ, is both LORD and Christ. (In the Book of Revelation, the Song of Moses -Affliction: The Song of the Lamb – Salvation)
  • On the fifteenth day: the ‘Feast of Tabernacles’ over a period of seven days.  A feast that remembers Israel’s wandering in the wilderness caused by their idolatry and unbelief. A feast, in which they pull down the branches of palm trees and make ‘booths’ to dwell in. (In the Book of Revelation as the cleansing of the Tabernacle in Heaven, in the season of God’s seven plagues in us, when God’s Word in us, is purged and purified.)

It is done. Released from bondage, please return to the truth and worship the Almighty in Spirit and in Truth.

GLORY TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AMEN.
